Narrative: Wilford was charged with the above offense after he accidentally shot a family member while handling a gun on September 2, 2015, in the 7400 block of S. St. Lawrence at approximately 9:00 pm. The victim, an 11-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to University of Chicago Comer Hospital where he was pronounced.
