Narrative: Laquan King was arrested after he was identified as the person who fatally shot two males on August 16, 2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m. This incident occurred on the 1600 block of S. Springfield Avenue. The two victims were playing a dice game when King approached on foot and fired shots. A 16 year old male was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. He later succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, a male 19, was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was later pronounced. King was charged accordingly. No further information is available at this time.
