Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Voice Their Love [Video]

After Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert officially split, rumors began to surface surrounding a love connection between Blake and Gwen Stefani. The two Voice coaches were seen holding hands as they headed to a party after the Country Music Awards (CMA). Miranda reportedly said she was not surprised at the unveiling of the relationship because she and her ex’s marriage had been rocky for some time and she knew this was a possibility.

Both parties recently announced their divorce from their spouses. Blake and Miranda announced on July 20, they were splitting after four years of marriage and Gwen and Gavin Rossdale announced their divorce on Aug. 3, after being married for 13 years. Both couples asked for privacy during their “very personal matter.”

Gwen said during this time of “personal woes” songwriting proved to be very therapeutic. This is when she wrote the hit song Used to Love You. The singer said it was strange how fast the lyrics to the song were written after her divorce had just become public in a petition which cited irreconcilable differences. The Voice coach and her ex-husband have three sons together which the pair has made clear they intend to co-parent in a happy and healthy environment. When questioned about the pending divorce, the singer told Ryan Seacrest:

What I will tell you is, I was married for a long time and now I’m not. It was a shock.

A couple of weeks prior, Blake and Miranda said they were separating because “this is not the future we envisioned.” From the outside, the couple seemed to have everything: money, fame, a huge ranch, celebrity friends and each other. Both knew that the fairy tale romance was long over and they would soon announce to the world that beloved country music couple was on the brink of divorce.

To the surprise of many fans, Blake and Miranda released a joint statement which stated the couple, although with heavy hearts, had decided to go their own way. After appearing in the same arena hailed for the CMAs, Miranda alleged that the news of the romantic relationship did not come as a surprise because the Gwen and Blake were always flirting with each other.

Well, the rumors proved to be true. It is official, Blake and Gwen are a couple. They were recently seen “boo-loving” at Adam Levine’s Halloween party and when the questions began to surface again, a representative for Blake confirmed the two Voice hosts are dating. Gwen had been questioned previously but refused to confirm or deny, and only replied that her co-host is hot. Some have labeled their connection a bandage-type of a relationship while others think they are a cute couple.

It seems that fans are sending positive vibes their way after watching them go through public divorces over the summer. Perhaps Blake and Gwen have been bonding over their failed marriages that were announced in recent months. They are co-workers on the popular show, The Voice and have now solidified a romantic interest in one another. Fresh off the heels of finalized divorces, Blake and Gwen have officially confirmed that cupid has struck again.
