Guardian Liberty Voice Photojournalist Untrail D. Boyd has reported a shooting in Chicago’s North Lawndale Neighborhood.
On May 7, 2016, a 16-year-old male who, according to one witness, was known as Vontay, was shot in the leg. A bystander, who was questioned at the scene, said that six or seven gunshots had been heard. The victim of the shooting managed to move to a basement apartment at 1332 S. Lawndale Ave., Chicago, Ill., soon after taking the bullet.
When the reporter arrived, the victim was already in the ambulance.
The man identified as Vontay was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

It’s truly sad the innocent youth has to take bullets from a coward with a gun this is sickening this is why I need to always know where my 14 yr old is at all times.god bless that baby happy to here he’s ok. Thanks untrail boyd.
