Shooting in Beaverton Oregon Leaves 3 Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide


According to the Oregonian, on Oct. 5, 2016, the Beaverton Police are investigating a shooting near Greenway Boulevard and Southwest Windmill Drive. Reports indicate that three victims were found at the location.

Sgt. Mike Rowe, Beaverton Police Department spokesperson, stated he could not confirm that there have been any fatalities from the shooting.

However, KOIN 6 News reported the police are at Redwood Creek Apartments on Southwest Hall and Greenway Boulevards. They suspect the three deaths are the result of a murder-suicide.

In a tweet for the police department, there is a Police Information Officer stationed at the old Albertsons grocery store building near the apartment complex.

UPDATE: KOIN 6 News states that the 911 call was made by a female relative who discovered the bodies. The deceased include one adult male and two children.

The Beaverton Police Department report that there is no risk to the public. They stated there will be traffic delays while the investigation takes place.
