RHOA: Kenya Moore Finally Becomes a Real Housewife

Fans of “Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA)” have witnessed Kenya Moore’s on-again-off-again rollercoaster of relationships. The controversial cast member has spent her entire tenure on the show looking for love and now she has finally found it. The 46-year-old reportedly married the love of her life last week on a St. Lucia beach and has finally become a “real” housewife.

The joke for many fans of the show is most the of women who belong to the “RHOA” franchise are single. Some started the series with a husband or got married as a cast member, while other unions failed to survive the stress of the camera. Kenya has finally sealed the deal in the land of love. When speaking of her new relationship status, she said:

I’m just ecstatic. This man is the love of my life and I’m so happy to begin our lives together as husband and wife.

Moore has shared her dating life on the hit Bravo series since she earned a peach. Initially, by dating and breaking up with ex-boyfriend Walter Jackson through this last season where she attempted to settle for the likes of Matt Jordan. The actress has emphasized each season her sincere desire to find love and start a family.

The former Miss USA shared with viewers the pain of having a mother who never acknowledged her existence has demonstrated she can function with very little support. The Detroit native has been on the hot seat of many reunions, only to be dethroned on the most recent one by her longtime rival Phaedra Parks. Despite all of the drama between the Kenya and Matt, Phaedra stole the reunion show with destructive lies.

The actress has been an ongoing target for different cast members over the years with many of the disagreements resulting from her own behavior. During previous seasons, Kenya has been accused of make-believe boyfriends, criticized for strained relationships and even taunted because she wanted to have a child. Whether or not a child is in her near future has yet to be revealed but she has married and finally become a real housewife.

The Bravo star revealed that she met her new husband a year ago, and reconnected with him in December. Initially, the star kept her new love on the down low, refusing to share his name or release any images. This was short-lived. The newlywed’s spouse is Marc Daly, the owner of SoCoBK a trendy restaurant in New York. Outside of allegedly questionable business dealings, not much more is known about Mr. Daly. His newly bride wished him a Happy Father’s Day, leading many to believe he is a dad. On social media, along with a picture of the couple, Kenya posted:

To my husband, Happy Father’s Day to you and all the great Dads,” she captioned the photo. “We met a year ago but didn’t speak again until December. Since we reconnected you have been my everything, my one and only, my heart… I love you.

The reality is all marriages have problems and experience conflict. The Hollywood lifestyle has the distinct ability to increase the strain of any relationship. After a long and rocky road of trying to find love and happiness, and seven months of dating, Kenya married the love of her life and finally becomes a real housewife. She and Daly shared a beautiful ceremony last week among family and close friends. Congratulations Marc and Kenya Daly.

Now, the question is, “Will Kenya transition to the ‘Housewives of New York’ franchise?”
