Mike Ledbetter, a blues musician and guitar player who toured the United States, Russia, and Europe, died suddenly of a medical emergency at his home on January 21, 2019. He was 33 years old. This information was reported by his manager Gina McClain. The cause of death is unknown, and the family is waiting for autopsy results.
Ledbetter’s bandmate from his band the Welch-Ledbetter Connection, “Monster” Mike Welch, mentioned that Ledbetter was healthy, and was a bodybuilder on and off.
The blues musician’s agent Tina Terry said he was classically trained in opera and was one of the greatest vocalists performing today. He was passionate about music, and this is a tremendous loss for the blues community.
In 2019 Ledbetter was nominated for the Blues Music Award in two categories, “B.B.King Entertainer” and vocalist of the year. His band, The Welch-Ledbetter Connection, was nominated that year for band of the year.
In 2018, Welche-Ledbetter Connection won the best traditional blues album at the Blues Music Award for their Delta Groove LP, “Right Place, Right Time.”
Ledbetter grew up in Elgin, Illinois and attended Elgin High School. For seven years, he toured with the Nick Moss Band.
The Welch-Ledbetter Connection was due to perform at the Chicago Blues Festival this summer, his agent reported. He was also set to perform upcoming dates at Buddy Guy’s Legends, Kingston Mines, B.L.U.E.S., and Callahan’s Music Hall.
In an interview with Blues Blas magazine, Ledbetter said he grew up listening to B.B.King and his sister’s favorite acts New Edition, Prince and Michael Jackson.
Ledbetter performed throughout Switzerland, Russia, Norway, Germany, France, Denmark, Czech Republic, Belgium, and the United States. He has two children with his partner Kathy Cahoon and funeral arrangements have not been announced.

They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
