Pedophille Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau Are Seperating

PEOPLE magazine have reported on March 28, 2019, that they have knowledge paperwork was filed by Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau in a King County Superior Court stating they would be moving forward to finalize their separation in private arbitration.

A source also told PEOPLE magazine that Letourneau and Fualaau are seeking a permanent end to their relationship.

The relationship between Letourneau began when Fualaau, who was a student in Letourneau’s sixth-grade class, started when he was 12 years old.

Letourneau spent over seven years in prison on a child rape charge and registered in Washington state as a sex offender. She continued to see Fualaau and had two children with him before the teenager turning 15.

After being released from prison, in 2005 Letourneau and Fualaau married and moved to King County, Washington. There, they raised their daughters Audrey and Georgia.

In May 2017, the couple was back in the spotlight, making headlines after Fualaau filed for a legal separation.

At the time, Letourneau’s attorney David Gehrke said in an interview with PEOPLE that he was not surprised when the two got married and he was not surprised they were separating.

He continued that Fualaau filed the paperwork for the separation, which is usually a precursor for submitting paperwork for a divorce. The purpose is to give notice to creditors that debts and bills will not be joint.

The couple decided to withdraw the separation paperwork and try to make their marriage work.

57-year-old Letourneau and 35-year-old Fualaau continued with their marriage and lived together.

The reconciliation did not work. The source told PEOPLE that the couple did try due to their history and children, but the relationship ran its course. They tried to fix what was wrong, but nothing could be done.
