The Rolling Stones Announced on March 30, 2019, that their North American tour would have to be postponed due to 75-year-old lead singer Mick Jagger requiring medical treatment for an undisclosed illness.

The 17 concert tour of  North American was to kick off in Miami on April 20, 2018.

The band’s PR person issued a statement saying Jagger has been told by doctors it is not feasible for him to tour at the current time as he needs to start medical treatment. The statement continued by saying Jagger is expected to have a complete recovery, and he will reschedule the dates and return to the stage as soon as he can.

Jagger also issued an apology for the cancellation of Twitter. He tweeted that he was sorry to all the fans who planned on seeing the band in concert.

Jagger continued by saying he feels horrible, disappointing everybody and is devastated to have to postpone the tour and is working hard to be able to return to the stage as soon as possible.  He ended with another apology.

The Rolling Stones is one of the most popular bands in music and have been performing for over five decades. They have won three Grammy Awards and nominated for 12.
