Dion
On April 2, 2019, L’Oreal Paris announced that Grammy Award Winner Celine Dion would be the company’s spokesperson.

Dion will make her debut for the company later this month advertising their Excellence Hair Color and will be the face of the product.

This is 51-year-old Dion’s first contract for a beauty product. She told People Magazine that she was shocked, and never expected something like this to happen.

She admitted she never felt as is she was strong, beautiful, or confident out her looks. Now she thinks that the best is coming.

In an interview with Elle, Dion said she is not feeling more confident within herself and able to do what she wanted.

After the death in January 2016 of her husband Rene Angelil, Dion lost a significant amount of weight and trolls body-shamed her.

She told People she has always been dancing and said the weight loss was due to ballet, which she partakes in with her Pepe Munoz, her backup dancer four times a week.

While in Paris in January 2019, she teased her collaboration with L’Oreal by wearing a sweater with the company’s tagline “I’m Worth It” written on it.

Dion’s residency in Las Vegas is ending in June 2019, and she will begin a new chapter in her life.

Dion said when she was offered the opportunity to work with L’Oreal she had to think if she believed in the product, and wanted her name affiliated with it.

She felt that L’Oreal Paris gave women tools to feel strong, feel good, and to help them feel as if they are worth it.

The pop star decided it would be an honor to become the global spokesperson of the brand and be the representative for women around the world.
