TMZ is reporting Jack Osbourne, son of rocker Ozzy Osborne, and talk show host Sharon was brutally attacked in a coffee shop.

Police say Osbourne was in a coffee shop on April 3, 2019, in studio city. He was sitting on a patio on the sidewalk of the restaurant.

An informant said an individual who seemed to be homeless walked up to Osbourne and unprovoked punched him on the head on the right side.

Osbourne was sitting with his back facing the street. After being punched he stood up, threw his coffee at the individual who ran away.

The sources say police were called right any and they easily found the attacker. It is alleged the perpetrator struggled and fought with the police who ultimately had to taser him to stop him and to calm him down.

TMZ reports the suspect was arrested by the police and was charged with assault and battery.

A representative for Osbourne said he is doing well.

Osbourne’s divorce recently became finalized in March to his ex-wife Lisa, after they were married for six years. In Aug. 2018, the couple agreed to joint custody of their children Minnie Theodora, Pearl Clementine, and Andy Rose.
