Morales
Forty-six-year-old Natalie Morales has been fired from “Access Hollywood” after three years of employment and has been replaced by “Saved by the Bell’s” Mario Lopez.

Morales will continue to work for the “Today” show as their anchor for the West Coast and a “Dateline” correspondent.

Confirming that she was leaving she wrote a note to her co-workers saying goodbye. Morales said that she had three fantastic years at “Access Hollywood” and will always treasure the good times and memories. She thanks them for welcoming her and bringing their A-game.

Morales specifically singled out her co-hosts Scott Evans, Kit Hoover, Liliana Vazques, and Sibley Scoles. A special thank you was given to her fashion and beauty assistants.

Morales continued by saying, everybody should continue to be a little engine that could. She mentioned that she was an ‘Air Force’ brat, who had to say goodbye much too much in her life.

She preferred to say see everybody later. She clarified by saying later meant on the red carpet or the next lot, as she was going to be a few studios away. She asked them to stay in touch with her.

Radar Online reported that Morales was not upset before she was fired. Mario Lopez from “Saved By The Bell” and “EXTRA” replaced her.

A source told Radar Online that Morales said that everybody knows Lopez prefers to work alone and hates not being the center of attention. She also wondered if Lopez there somebody under the bus, and wondered if he did it to keep his job.

Another source said Lopez sold himself to the television execs, who bought it. Friends of Morales are not happy with Lopez taking over because they do not like him.
