Hussle
The cause of 33-year-old Nipsey Hussle‘s death has been released.

The Coroner of the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner stated on April 1, 2019, that the Hussle (born Ermias Joseph Asghedom) died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and head.

Reports after the shooting said Hussle was shot six times.

Hussle was shot execution-style outside the Marathon Clothing Store, which he owned in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles on March 31, 2019.

PEOPLE magazine received a statement from the coroner who said that paramedics were called and Hussle was transported to the hospital. The rapper was pronounced dead at the hospital at 3:55 p.m. PT.

The statement continued by saying an autopsy was performed on April 1, 2019, and it concluded that Hussle died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and head. The coroner added that the manner of death had been certified as homicide.

Two other individuals were shot outside the clothing store, and as of March 31, they were listed in stable condition at the hospital.

Hussle was posing with fans for photographs when the shooting took place. Police have said they do not have a suspect in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
