Cobain
On April 5, 2019, 26-year-old Frances Bean Cobain, the only child of Nirvana’s lead singer Kurt Cobain took to her Instagram to talk about suicide on the 25th anniversary on the day her father killed himself.

She wrote: “If anybody is having mental health issues and are struggling and need help and somebody to talk to, please get in touch with your parents, friends, counselors, neighbors, teachers, or even a stranger you met on the internet.”

She continued by saying that if one needs help, it is not a sign of weakness. The world should end the shame and stigma towards the struggle people have with mental health issues.”

Bean also included the link and phone number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Earlier, she posted on her Instagram, a black-and-white photograph of her father when he was a child.

Cobain committed suicide on April 5, 1994, when he was 27 years old. His body was found in his  Seattle home in April, 1994.
