Ozzy Osbourne announced on April 4, 2019, that he would be postponing all dates of his 2019 tour saying he must heal from injuries he obtained when he was recently ill.
70-year-old Osbourne recently was in the hospital with pneumonia.
According to a post on the singers Facebook page, during that period when he returned to his Los Angeles, California home he fell. The fall aggravated injuries he obtained in a 2003 ATV accident.
The singer required surgery for the injury in March and must remain in Los Angeles under the care of a doctor during the recovery period.
In the same post was a quote from Osbourne. He said he could not believe he has been forced to reschedule the tour dates. He cannot tell everybody how angry, frustrates, and depressed; he is not able to go on tour.
He told the fans he was grateful for all the love and support he was receiving from his family, fans, friends and of course his band. He added that it is the only thing that was keeping him going.
Osbourne continued to say that everybody should know he is getting better daily, will make a full recovery, will finish his tour, and will return.
Osbourne’s show will be rescheduled for February 2020. Those who purchased tickets should keep their original tickets which will be honored at the new show.
Since some of Osbourne’s shows in 2019 were festivals, they will not be rescheduled. Those who had tickets for the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl, the date will be announced in the future.
Osbourne’s 2002 European and UK dates will be announced in the soon.
