According to the official Facebook page of the Tuscan Police Department, 33-year-old Steven Charles Holmes, a Border Patrol Agent was charged with three separate cases of sexual assault and three cases of aggravated assault.
Holmes was brought to the Pima County Jail where he is being held on $25,000 bond.
The Facebook page says that the Adult Sexual Assault Unit of the Tuscan Police Departement was informed on May 13, 2019, a sexual assault took place involving Steven Charles Holmes, a Border Patrol Agent.
An unidentified female alleged she had met Holmes over a dating app. While they were talking, he told her he was a Border Patrol Agent.
The victim told detectives the two agreed to meet, and when they did, he raped her.
While police were investigating, they uncovered several women had similar stories occurring between January 2012 to January 2019.
An arrest warrant was issued, and on May 21, 2019, Holmes was arrested and was brought to the Pima County Jail where he was booked.
According to Border Patrol, Holmes has worked for the agency for seven years. Pending the investigation, he has been given administrative duties.
In a statement released by the Border Patrol, they stated that they do not tolerate any misconduct while on or off duty. The also agreed to cooperate fully with the investigation.
