On May 6, 2019, Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles announced on Instagram that they would be shutting their doors.
The company posted on Instagram to their over 500K followers thanking everybody for their orders recently since Hussle was murdered. They continued by saying the love and support shown meant a great deal to the family and team.
They continued by saying that they continued to work to fulfill the orders which have been placed. They said the main store has been closed, but orders could still be placed online.
It has been unconfirmed but reports allegedly say Hussle’s store has made since his death $10 million.
It is estimated Hussle was worth approximately $8 million.
Hussle was shot multiple times and murdered outside of the clothing store. Twenty-nine-year-old Eric Holder is the alleged suspect and was ultimately arrested in Bellflower, California on April 2.
Holder has been charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
