Sources tell TMZ that Tanisha Asghedom, the mother of Nipsey Hussle’s daughter 10-year-old Emani, will be fighting the appointment of Hussle’s brother Sam Asghedomas the administrator to the rapper’s estate.
The source alleges Tanisha may request that she become administrator of the estate.
Hussle’s estate is worth approximately two million dollars.
Sam Asghedom filed court documents saying when Hussle died; he did not have a will. He is requesting to become the administrator of Hussle’s estate. A judge is set to hear the case on June 10, 2019.
The law of California where Hussle resided said that the rapper’s children would split his estate equally.
Hussle had another child with actress Lauren London, Kross who is two years old. Each child would be eligible to receive $1 million, minus taxes and estate fees.
Asghedom has been fighting for the custody of Emani. If she is granted custody, she would be handling the money left to her daughter. Ashgedom would be able to use some of it to help provide for the girl.
On May 20, a judge in California granted custody of Emani to Hussle’s sister Samantha Smith. The girl had been in Smith’s care since Hussle was gunned down outside his clothing store on March 31.
