KramerTerry Allen Kramer, Broadway Producer, and social fixture of Palm Beach died on May 2, 2019, in New York. She was 85 years old.

Kramer’s Palm Beach Estate, when offered in 2018 for sale for $135 Million, was the most expensive property ever offered in the area.

Kramer was born in 1934 and was the heiress of a Wall Street investment firm Allen & Company which her father Charles Allen Jr. founded in 1922.

Kramer had a husky voice, deep tan, blonde hair, and often wore large diamond earrings.

She produced dozens of Broadway shows including Tony Award-winning shows such as “Who is Sylvia?” “The Goat,” and “Movin’ Out.” She also produced the doomed musical which was scored by U2’s Bono “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark,” and “Kinky Boots” which was scored by Cyndi Lauper.

Nikki Haskell who had known Kamver since the 70s said that Kramer was considered to be Palm Beach’s grande dame. She was colorful and feisty. If you were important you went to one of the parties she hosted.

Kramer was close friends with celebrities such as Denise Rich and Joan Collins. She was twice divorced and had one daughter named Toni.

In her later years, she dated actor George Hamilton.

One of the most highly coveted invitations to her annual Thanksgiving dinner which was hosted at La Follia, Kramer’s 37,516-square-foot mansion with 13 bedrooms.

After she divorced Donald Trump, Ivana Trump visited her regularly.

Last month, Kramer became sick when on holiday in the Bahamas. A friend thought it was pneumonia. She was hospitalized and never recovered from the medically-induced coma she was placed in.
