“The Lighthouse” will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The movie stars Willem Dafoe as a cantankerous lighthouse keeper and Robert Pattinson as his reluctant assistant. “The Lighthouse” starts as a dark and strange 19th-century workplace comedy before turning into an all-time great cabin fever movie.

A storm forces the two men to take shelter in the lighthouse for days on end. The two sink into a booze-soaked duel of machismo. The scenery and the sea-shanty dialogue promises to entertain as the movie and the characters slip into darker and stranger waters and the characters into new heights of madness and depravity.

It is not easy to categorize this movie, but EW promises it will bring laughter and chills.

On CNN, at 8 p.m. “Coronavirus Facts and Fears: A CNN Global Town Hall” will be another installment of CNN’s town hall. This episode will feature the latest developments from the COVID-19 pandemic.
