Party

In 1981 the once Grand Old Party began to change. Ronald Reagan demanded unfettered loyalty and an end to dissent. In simple English, he forbade the use of independent and free thought. If you were elected under the banner of the Republican Party, no one was allowed to offer their own opinions, it was one for all and all for one, period. This policy was moronic, and fascist, but it has experienced even greater negative change since 2015.

Reagan’s Policies Began the End of the Party of Lincoln

This demand by one of the worst presidents in history began the destruction of the party calling itself “Republican.” Then, in 2010, a third party entered into the mix. They called themselves the “Taxed Enough Already Party,” but were extremists who were allowed to run for office under the Republican banner. This mistake guaranteed an end to the “Party of Lincoln.”

The TEA Party was created by the Koch brothers with support from other billionaires. They bought and paid for candidates who promised to support the agenda of the super-rich and ignore the majority of our nation’s people.

Trump Destroyed What Remained of the Republican Party

I would like to begin the remainder of this truthful account of the country I love by declaring that my information is part of what should have been the “post Trump era.” However, Trump remains in control of a large part of those in Washington who call themselves “Republicans,” but in fact are part of Trump’s American Fascist Party. If the GOP did not cease to exist completely in 2017, this has become an undeniable reality in 2023. A cursory examination of today’s fake Republicans reveals a former party in complete disarray and is entirely dysfunctional.

McCarthy and His Clowns Are a Bad Joke and Getting Worse

Prior to the 2022 election, Democrats controlled the House. The situation has been reversed, and the party in the majority is not a party at all. It is disjointed. Kevin McCarthy is technically the Speaker. However, he surrendered all of his power to the party of extremists calling themselves the Freedom Caucus. His desperation to become the Speaker required 15 votes and complete capitulation to this single fascist group which is now in control of the House. However, without a significant majority, and a guarantee of his use of the veto power by President Biden, this entire body of the Capitol’s lower house is inconsequential and will remain that way until January of 2025.

Republicans Have Nothing to Offer

Not a single member of today’s fake Republican Party is qualified to become our nation’s leader. It is both ridiculous and hilarious that the two leading candidates are fascists who choose to be vicious enemies. Neither is a real American, sharing the same demonic and anti-American beliefs in white supremacy, homophobia, anti-Semitism, misogyny, xenophobia, and a desire to achieve ultimate and unchallenged power. The sad truth is they are the best candidates fake Republicans have to offer.

I seriously believe that no candidate will have 100 percent of their party’s vote in 2024. Republicans lost the 2018, 2020, and 2022 elections due to their loyalty to Trump. He is a pariah. However, DeSantis is not an improvement. Like Trump, he is an egotist who is only interested in his personal success.

The truth is that we have not had two legitimate and competent political parties in America for more than 40 years.

The voting public can do better.
