The Cannabis Science Conference (CSC) is returning to Portland, Oregon, for its Spring 2023 gathering. Their agenda is packed with opportunities to learn more about marijuana. The event, April 19-21, 2023, also offers participants the opportunity to explore the latest in cannabis science and cultivation, the emerging psychedelics market, and medical marijuana.

Montel Williams shared the benefits of attending CSC: “A wealth of information, knowledge, and education here that would help to motivate the public to make demands.” Additionally, a past attendee praised the conference: “This is the place to be; people are learning and sharing. They get to see the bigger picture of the cannabis industry.”

CSC spokesperson Megan L’Heureux said people attend the conference for many reasons. First, it is an educational event. The forum has workshops and panels designed to answer questions about growing cannabis and using it for medical purposes. A person might attend to check out new career options and network.

Furthermore, she continued: “Our pre-conference Canna Boot Camp will be at an analytical testing lab for the first time ever. That’s on April 19th.

Also, the boot camp is open to anybody: It’s educational. You learn the nuts and bolts of everything in the cannabis industry. The event’s goal is to help people learn the basics.” In other words, people do not need to be scientists to enjoy the conference.
