The entire and former Grand Old Party is opposed to the wishes and needs of the majority of our nation’s people. I see two reasons for this fact: today’s fake Republicans are the party of special interests, and it is composed primarily of old, white men.

A Young Nation With Young Ideas and Beliefs

You may be a little surprised to learn that America’s population averages 38.2 years of age. What does this mean? Younger Americans are less likely to have prejudices or become bigots. Most importantly, the vast majority strongly supports complete equality for all women, in all situations.

This means that they reject the efforts of the Christian Religious Right to place decisions about their own mental and physical health in the control of white men whose majority are sexists, hiding behind a pretense of religious beliefs.

Red States Turning ‘Purple?’

South Carolina and Nebraska are two very red states famous for their support of the “pro-life” movement. However, this week, change came to these GOP strongholds. Both state legislatures failed to pass anti-abortion laws so severe, they would have basically eliminated the abortion rights of poor and minority women in their states.

If this was 40 years ago, most Republicans would be alarmed at the very least. This is a clear message that politicians are experiencing an electorate which is opposed to the far right agenda of the once Grand Old Party.

Embracing Fascism and the End of America

However, today’s “Republicans lean so far to the right they have become arrogant fascists. To put it bluntly, they rule over us and don’t give a damn what the American people think about anything. Their billionaire owners are the only individuals they answer to.

What Republicans Think of Womankind in the 21st Century

Read the following statement. Then, tell me if you believe Republicans focus on making women third-class citizens as they were in the 1950s.

“Once a woman became pregnant for any reason, she would now become property of the state of South Carolina if the ‘Human Life Protection Act’ were [to] come into law,” Republican state Sen. Katrina Frye Shealy, who voted against the bill, said Wednesday on the Senate floor. “She could no longer make decisions on her own or at the advice of her well-trained doctor. Every female, regardless of her age, would suddenly become subject to the power of a code book regarding her health.”

When the most biased Supreme Court in history overturned Roe v Wade, on one of the darkest days in history, June 24, 2022. However, they did more than remove their legal right to an abortion. They returned them to a place where their Constitutional rights were removed. They are once again third in priority to all men, and a fetus at any stage of development. If most Republican men had their way, a woman would pass her right to vote to her husband, brother, or father. Women aren’t intelligent enough to vote.

Do You Know Any “Real” Republicans?

If you believe my allegation is extreme, you know nothing about today’s fake Republican Party. They are arrogant and dictatorial. Although they are all elected officials, required to serve the American people, they believe that they have the power to control our lives while serving the demands of today’s plutocrats.

I end this with my well-known question: “If Republicans refuse to vote for your needs and wishes, why would you vote for them?”
