The 2014 Young Hollywood Awards were held on Sunday at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, California and were hosted by the beautiful and glamorous Kelly Osbourne, who managed to pull off four spectacular looks during the course of the evening. The awards show, which honors and celebrates the very best young talented actors, actresses and musical artists of the year, will be broadcast on The CW Network on Monday evening, July 28th 8/7CT.
The Young Hollywood Awards are often thought of as being the “Oscars of Young Hollywood.” It is a red carpet event (it’s actually a blue carpet), a must-attend awards show for fans, Hollywood execs and A-list celebrities. The awards show honors and celebrates the best of the year’s young talented performers in music, film, sports, style and television.
There were a lot of awards that were presented and the most elite young celebrities were nominated. In this preview, the categories and nominees will be revealed, as well as a few of the winners.
Justin Bieber was one of the celebrities honored, but not for his music. He was honored for his charity work and contributions to the Make-A Wish Foundation, according to Just Jared. Bieber generally likes to keep the work he does for various charities on the QT, though he contributes to several charities on a regular basis.
Also, Vanessa Hudgens, 25, was honored at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards when she was presented with the Trendsetter Award. Hudgens is always fashionable and it is easy to see why she was presented this award.
The other awards that were presented on the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards show included one for Fan Favorite Actor, Male. There were 12 actors nominated: Theo James, Channing Tatum, Michael B. Jordan, Adam Driver, Andrew Garfield, Jonah Hill, Josh Hutcherson, Ansel Elgort, Liam Hemsworth, Andy Samberg, Taylor Lautner and Aaron Paul.

The 2014 Young Hollywood Awards also gave an award for the best #SocialMediaSuperstar of 2014. The six nominees included Ariana Grande, Ashley Tisdale, Austin Mahone, Bella Thorne, Chrissy Teigen and R5.
One of the somewhat off-beat categories of the evening was the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards show award for Best Threesome. The category’s title sounds maybe a bit more sexy than it actually is, as it is really an award presented to the best three actors and/or actress in a TV show or movie.
There were five groups of threesomes nominated: The Hunger Games (Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson), Workaholics (Adam DeVine, Anders Holm, Blake Anderson), Neighbors (Zac Efron, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse), The Vampire Diaries (Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley) and That Awkward Moment (Zac Efron, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan). The Vampire Diaries threesome won this award, with Ian Somerhalder, 35, accepting the award as Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev could not make it to the awards show held on Sunday.
Another somewhat unique award presented at the 2014 Young Hollywood Awards show was one for Hottest Body (of work). The five nominees were Derek Hough, Kate Upton, Kellan Lutz, Chrissy Teigen and James Maslow.
The five couples who were nominated for the Best On-Screen Couple were all ones who lit up the movie and TV screens with their displays of romance. The couples were Mayim Bialik/Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Shailene Woodley/Theo James (Divergent), Chris Colfer/Darren Criss (Glee), Shailene Woodley/Ansel Elgort (The Fault in Our Stars) and Emma Stone/Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

The five actors were Stephen Amell (Arrow), Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Kellan Lutz (The Legend of Hercules), Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past).
The six comedians nominated for the Cuz You’re funny award were five hilarious comedians at the top of their game. They were Aziz Ansari, Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, Kenan Thompson, Amy Schumer and Aubrey Plaza.
