Romney Clinches GOP Nomination

By Randy Rose

Mitt Romney continues his campaign along with the RNC who joined his team to win the Republican Nomination — on paper, that is. The rest of the primaries do not matter as Romney and the Progressive Press who cheer him on have concluded that he has attained the 1143 needed to be nominated. The action on the ground is a little different because Ron Paul delegates are going to Tampa to vote for Romney on the first ballot. There is a chance that more than 1143 delegates traveling to Tampa are in fact loyal to Ron Paul. The problem may turn out to be the words that the GOP Attorney spoke when she said the delegates are not bound to any candidate and can vote their choice. This is what will make watching this year’s GOP Convention a lot of fun.
