3 doors down: From that first explosive burst of “Kryptonite” to subsequent multi-platinum albums and a non-stop touring regimen that finds them still notching shows around the world at a record pace, 3 Doors Down has earned a hard-fought pedigree as one of rock’s most exciting and authentic bands. Their impressive and steady ascension up the ladder has seen them score multiple #1 hits, snag several Billboard and other awards, and log scores of sold-out shows over a growing global terrain that is nearing 40 countries. “Kryptonite” which ignited their storied career at the top of last decade, rose to international fame and charted in the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their album, The Better Life released in 2000 was the 11th best selling album of the year and certified 6x platinum in the United States. The album featured international hit singles such as: “Kryptonite,” “Loser” and “Duck and Run” as well as “Be Like That,” which was later re-recorded and featured in the 2001 film American Pie 2.

The band’s success continued with their second album Away From the Sun, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart and went multi-platinum in the U.S. In 2005, the band released their third album, Seventeen Days, which launched at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum within its first month of release. The album features four hit singles including “It’s Not My Time,” “Train,” “Let Me Be Myself” and “Citizen/Soldier,” which pays tribute to the National Guard. Their fourth, self-titled album, 3 Doors Down, also went straight to #1, cementing them as one of this generation’s battle-tested rock bands. The band’s fifth studio album Time of My Life was released in 2011. Since the start of their career, 3 Doors Down have sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
