LAS VEGAS – A flash flood warning affecting west central Clark County of Southern Nevada has issued by The National Weather Service.
This will be effecting until 3:15 p.m.

The Doppler radar showed a stationary thunderstorm producing very heavy rain nine miles north of Sandy Valley.

Locations impacted include: Sandy Valley, the southern end of the Pahrump Valley, State Route 160, and the old Spanish Trail Highway.

“Flash flooding is expected in washes, low water crossings and on area roadways,” The National Weather Service said in a statement. “To escape rising water, move to higher ground.”
