The X Factor just released its new promo video, which features Spears giving it to audition contestants, first a left then a right, then a left – right. In addition to showing her mean streak, dozens of media outlets are making a big deal of the pop singer’s walk-out this week when a man dressed in drag auditioned for the X factor.
From the headlines, one might get the idea that Spears is letting it all hang out in order to show folks that she belongs in the same company as Cowell and Reid. However, Spears was not the only one to walk away from the judges’ table. The pop singer was followed by the Louisiana native L.A. Reid, who explained to usmagazine.com that “The truth is he was horrific. We just couldn’t take it anymore… It was our dinner break, anyway.”
As for the new X Factor Promo video, the L.A. Times reports that the Fox singing completion appears to be changing its tone. The newspaper points out that the show has gone from the sweet talk displayed by former judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger to a more tougher regime.
Britney claims in a clip posted on “Idolator” that “It’s about using constructive criticism. You know these people are driving so far out of their way to come in and to perform and put themselves out there.”
With the X Factor Auditions over, Spears and the rest of the judges will next participate in the shows boot camp; and the controversial diva made sure her fans were updated when she tweeted, “bring on boot camp!”
Fans can’t wait to see it when the X Factor premieres on Fox TV September 12.
