Lady Gaga Finds Inspiration by Recording in the Nude

Some artist go into a room and quietly listen to the natural sound swirling in the wind while others meditate in prayer to find inspiration, but Lady Gaga, well let’s just say she was born this way, as the queen of pop finds inspiration completely in the nude.

You heard right, the 26-year-old has reportedly decided to record her new album, “ARTPOP,” completely in the nude. “[she] has really taken to the idea of naked recording,” according to “The Sun.” “She has been recording vocals while she’s been completely starkers. She thinks it makes her voice sound better.”

Mother Monster is certainly not shy about baring her body, in public or in private.

Earlier this month, she posted a home video to her official YouTube page, in which she dances around her home and lifts her sweater to flash the camera. In July, Gaga posted a nude photo of herself online on her social networking site, wearing nothing but nude-colored underwear and holding her knees against her breasts. She also got naked for her perfume ad with little men crawling all over her body. Naked studio sessions seem quite tame, comparatively speaking.

Gaga has been teasing fans with tidbits about “ARTPOP,” due out in early 2013.

Her makeup artist, Tara Savelo tweeted: To which Gaga responded that “ARTPOP” will have a “stoned Disney Princess kinda vibe.”

“Let’s just say I feel, I feel that when I wrote “Born This Way,” I demonstrated a sense of maturity,” she told MTV News. “And I feel that on the next album, there’s a lack of maturity — it’s a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility.” Or lack of clothes.

Gaga is currently in the middle of her “Born This Way” ball world tour, which features 110 dates in all. The tour’s European leg will make its way to the UK for a pair of dates at Twickenham on September 8 and 9 and a third show at the Manchester Arena on September 11.

The singer, who is also set to make a public appearance at iconic London department store Harrods on October 7, announced last month that she will make her acting debut in a new Robert Rodriguez movie called “Machete Kills.” She will play a character called “La Chameleon” in the film, which is a sequel to Rodriguez’s 2010 action exploitation movie “Machete.”

“ARTPOP” will be Gaga’s third studio album and the follow-up to her 2011 album “Born This Way.”  Fans are speculating that the album could feature a collaboration with Azealia Banks after the pair began a teasing Twitter conversation earlier this month.
