Operation Christmas Child, the largest Christmas Project in the world

Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide children’s project that uses simple gift-filled shoe boxes to let hurting children know that they are loved and not forgotten. In 2012, Operation Christmas Child will hand deliver more than 8.6 million of those shoe boxes to children in over 100 countries around the world.

Each year it all starts with getting the word out, and the Las Vegas volunteers for Operation Christmas Child will kick everything off with their annual “Countdown” event THIS SATURDAY, to organize and excite the Las Vegas Community to pack 17,000 gift filled shoe boxes to help underprivileged children around the globe.

Local organizations, groups, families, schools and churches will be attending the “Countdown” event to receive supply’s and everything they need to motivate their community organizations – so that they can start packing shoe boxes to ultimately drop off at designated Las Vegas and area collection centers during Operation Christmas Child’s – National Collection Week, November 12-19.

For more information on how you can help us get the word out and further promote the largest Christmas Project in the world, please see the attached information on Operation Christmas Child, and/or please contact – Ms. Brenda Meehan, of Meehan and Associates at (702) 524-0604.

Thank you for your assistance!
Merry Christmas!

This is a toxic form of giving that is not effective aid, does not address local needs or solve local problems. It is a covert form of Christian marketing to the vulnerable and poor. Sponsor a donkey or a goat!
