The accurate number of deaths at Sandy Hook Elementary is 6 adults, 20 children, and the shooter, Lanza. A third weapon was found, a .223 Bushmaster, an assault rifle.
Reports of a body being found in the killer’s home in New Jersey were erroneous.
Police also reported that no shots were fired by law enforcement at the school, but have not confirmed the murderer committed suicide.
