Ammar Harris arrested

Ammar Harris, 26-year-old was arrested Thursday morning in Los Angeles. He was taken into custody without incident.

Police say there is no doubt that Ammar Harris fired the shots, from a black Range Rover into the Maserati, driven by 27-year-old, Kenny Cherry Jr. aka Rapper Kenny Clutch, near the Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, the Flamingo, and Bally’s, which resulted in his death.

The killing of Rapper, Kenny Clutch, resulted in a 6 car pile-up and the deaths of a cab driver, 62-year-old Michael Boldon and his passenger 48-year-old Sandra Sutton-Wasmund.

Police say the incident was the result of an argument, in the valet parking area, of the upscale Aria resort-casino, about a block down the street from where Rapper, Kenny Clutch met his demise.  Morocco-born Rapper, French Montana, had performed a concert at Aria nightclub “Haze”.

Court records showed that Rapper, Kenny Clutch, had no criminal cases or convictions, in Las Vegas, and police said there were no record of arrests.

Ammar Harris, is facing three counts of murder.

Ammar Harris, had previously been arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of kidnapping, sexual assault, being an ex-felon in possession of a gun and robbery, police said. And that’s just in our jurisdiction,” Las Vegas police spokesman, Marcus Martin, is reported to have said. “He has a habit of not appearing in court, too.” Ammar Harris’, black Range Rover, was found Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex, east of the Las Vegas Strip and was impounded as evidence.

We learned that the altercation is believed to have originated in the valet parking area, of the Aria Hotel and Casino, as both vehicles involved in this incident, had previously exited the valet area. In the ensuing shooting and traffic accident, the driver of the taxicab, and the cab’s passenger were injured and pronounced dead at the scene. Both the driver and passenger of the Maserati, were transported to the UMC Trauma Center. Additionally, three occupants of other vehicles involved in the six car pile up, were transported to area hospitals, with minor to moderate injuries.

Rapper, Kenny Clutch, was killed along with two innocent people. Bay Area FOX affiliate KTVU spoke with the Rappers’s family in Oakland, who confirmed his identity.
