Bobby Brown turns himself in
Bobby Brown is back in the news again and this time he has turned himself in due to a DUI charge. Now, the R&B singer is serving 55 days in jail and four years’ probation. Bobby is charged with a DUI, pleas of drunk driving, driving on a suspended license and a probation violation.
However, due to over crowding within the LA county jail, good behavior and credit for “good time work time,” Bobby may only serve nine days. The decision is more likely to come from his county probation officer or a judge’s order. Still, Bobby must complete an 18-month alcohol-treatment program and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week.
On March 26, 2012, Bobby Brown was seen talking on his cellphone while driving and arrested in the San Fernando Valley and later that year on October 24 he was arrested again.
“Mr. Brown continues to remain committed to his sobriety. Mr. Brown is pleased that the matter has been resolved,” Bobby Brown’s lawyer said in a statement.
