14 Wounded in Mass Stabbing at Texas College
Lone Star College in The Woodlands, TX, near Houston, is on lockdown after a student went on a stabbing spree. The unidentified subject injured 14 people, two of them critically.
At approximately 11:12 local time, Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said at a press conference that an emergency call came in stating, “Male on the loose, stabbing people”. (chicagotribune.com)
A 21-year-old male student has been detained. Although police are not saying exactly what type of weapon was used by the suspect,
most of the injuries appear to be lacerations.
There are approximately 19,000 students at The Woodlands campus, part of the Lone Star College System.
Although the police have detained one suspect, they are still going from building to building looking for a second suspect.

Thank you for alerting me of the error. The attack happened at the campus in Cypress, Texas; about 30 miles northwest of Houston.

It was Lone Star College-Cy Fair, which is not in The Woodlands.
