
George Zimmerman found not guilty by jury of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin. Trayvon was unarmed when he was shot by Zimmerman who claimed it was self-defense. Jury was made up of six women. Zimmerman’s parents were in the courtroom during the verdict. Zimmerman walked out of the courtroom a free man.
