
A jet has crashed landed at the San Francisco international airport. The plane, a Boeing 777, operated by Asiana Airlines, performed an emergency landing a few minutes ago, after a fire was discovered on board.
TV images show black smoke rising from the plane. There are reports that that the plane’s tail was separated from the body and its engine snapped off.
Firefighters and rescue workers are on the scene. There are no reports on casualties or injuries so far.
Reports say the plane came from Taipei, Taiwan.
