A car crashed into a crowd of people in Venice Beach California injuring twelve people.
Police have recovered the vehicle but the driver fled on foot. Los Angeles fire Department said all of the victims were standing on the boardwalk when they were struck.
Venice Beach is near Santa Monica where 10 people were killed and 69 people were injured when an elderly man drove his car through a farmers market. Two people are in critical condition.
