Is Brad Pitt’s New Hair Cut a Sign of Trouble in His Relationship?

Could it be that Brad Pitt is secretly having trouble in his relationship with Angelina Jolie?  If his new hair cut is any kind of a sign, then the answer could be yes, say some of his fans.  While Brad has often been seen sporting a longer, center-parted hair style in recent years, he recently appeared in public with a short, cleaner looking cut that has drawn quite a bit of attention.

While press reports are saying that his new do is related to a movie that he is filming called “Fury,” some of his fans think there may be another motive, such as a new love in his life.  He is currently engaged (or married, if you believe the rumors) to actress Angelina Jolie, with whom he shares six children:  Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox.  The pair first met on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and Brad later left his wife of five years, “Friends” sweetheart Jennifer Aniston, to be with Jolie.

However, Brad’s fans think the new hair cut could be a sign of something deeper, like trouble in his current relationship.  Brad has often been teased on celebrity gossip boards for his tendency to morph into whoever he is dating at the time.   And, fans have pointed to some very striking similarities between the evolution of his style and the style of the women he has dated in the past.

Here are a few examples of how Brad’s style change ups over the years.

First, he and Juliette Lewis adopted the same bouncy blond do.

Then, he and Gwenyth Paltrow got nearly identical sides wept locks streaked with blond highlights.

Next, he showed his love to Jennifer Aniston by growing his hair long to match her iconic mane.

And, finally there was Angelina Jolie, who taught Brad about the ease and versatility of an all-black wardrobe coupled with with a slicked back ponytail.

So, could Brad’s fans be correct?  Probably not, given that he is currently filming a new movie and tends to change up his look whenever he’s working on a new role.   The movie he is working on right now is a war drama called “Fury,” which is set in Nazi Germany, so it makes perfect sense why he would be wearing such a short, clean-cut look now.   His character is probably not a globe-hopping Bohemian like he is.  According to a plot synopsis on IMDb, the movie involves a crew of Americans who “embark of a brave mission,” so his typical tousled, just-rolled-out-of-bed look probably wouldn’t work.

In addition to the new movie role, fans must also consider the fact that he and Angelina have been presenting a pretty unified front lately after her cancer diagnosis and treatment.  They look genuinely happy to be with each other.  People who look this happy together don’t generally split up soon afterward.

If we don’t see him revert back to his old hair cut after filming wraps, is it a sign that those rumors of relationship trouble are real?  I doubt it, but it’s fun for Brad Pitt followers to speculate about.
