It seems so far, online issues are starting to smooth out for millions of gamers. The developers over at Rockstar want to verify all crimps are ironed out before rolling updates and stimulus packages for every buyer. One exciting new update arriving is the Beach Bum Pack update for early November. The pack will thrill gamers who will have an expanded array of weapons and vehicles. Gamers will be able to use the features for the GTA V online play or Story Mode.
Details of the Beach Bum Pack
The value of this update will be shared with online gamers and those who prefer offline play. What items will be included in the Beach Bum Pack? Read on to find out:
- The update will be free which is always a winner.
- New races will be introduced and with these new races;
- New vehicles aimed at beach racing will be introduced.
- A brand new selection of tattoos will be available for gamers to sport a new beachy attitude.
- A new selection of clothes and hairstyles will be uploaded as well for optimal selection.
Gamers had a hint the pack would be released but offline gamers had no clue and are thrilled at the prospect of being included. Earlier last month, Rockstar faced a backlash from Android/Windows users who were severely delayed from the iFruit app. The app was formulated and accessible only on iOS devices. It seems the Beach Bum Pack releasing in November will be sharing the GTA V love.
What’s Up with that Promised Stimulus?
Rockstar is well aware gamers are po’d about the online issues. Sure, the gaming giant made some big promises and did not quite deliver once GTA V went live. The company does deserve some props for remaining communicative with gamers and promising the stimulus. Once gamers started reporting they were losing GTA$, Rockstar held off on sending the stimulus to avoid gamers losing it in a glitch.
The first payment was estimated to arrive a week or so ago and that did not happen. Rockstar updated their site (remember, gamers can subscribe to updates, this gamer did!) advising the stimulus is still in progress. Rockstar wants to verify that all online problems are ironed out prior to releasing the two installments, totaling $500,000 in GTA credit per affected gamer. Gamers who played online in October will be the people compensated with the stimulus. That kind of money can go a long way in the newest update. The below video discusses the Beach Bum pack.
Gamers Respond
Being part of a few Facebook groups sounding off about that problems also revealed something else. Gamers love their GTA V and are willing to stick by Rockstar through thick and thin. From upsets, disappointments, issues and revelations – gamers pride themselves on being able to face it all. Rockstar acknowledges that and the company continues to keep a line of communication open between their gamers and the updates.
Speaking to a member of a new crew, he showed his love for the Rockstar brand and stated he overcame a lot of disappointment to start enjoying the game.
We gotta band together! No joke, we got enough people out there already slamming this game. Pimping out their theories on why it’s bad for me and my friends. It’s a cool game, I play it cause I enjoy it. I also have no drive to go shoot up places, if you crazy a game isn’t going to make you crazy. I told my boys online let’s simmer down the hate towards RS and keep rolling. Rockstar gets much love, I’m in my mid-30’s and after a long day at work, this is my time to relax. I know these issues will be fixed in no time.
There you go, gamers. A fellow gamer who has identified the issues and overcame the frustration to enjoy what he can until Rockstar irons out all problems. With the Beach Bum Pack update arriving in November with the stimulus, it seems Rockstar will be make amending in several ways. Excellent article Angelina. it would be nice if more people would do a little digging around for answers like this, rather than immediately posting their anger on the Rockstar Newswire without a rational thought in their heads. Nicely done, and i agree with everything stated in the article although, i think it was a a bit of a bad idea for Rockstar to even give us an approximate date on the stimulus. too many people can’t understand their motive behind pushing it back.
The one thing I would like RockStar to do is to add a speedometer. That would be great

Yeah they shouldnt have taken that out.. this is GTA V, it should have all the great features of the previous GTA’s plus great new ones!!! Including minor upgrades like a speedometer!! Lol

Hi Ciaran, that’s one we haven’t been able to confirm. It seems Rockstar is hesitant on putting a firm date on it, unless the online issues calm down. For now, early November is what is being told. Once we get a confirmed date, that will be shared!
In the content creator they should allow you to make a survival mode as well in selected areas of the game. Etc. Grove street , the pier that would be cool Rockstar.

Love the game just wish there was more to do in the open world. Theres no reason to leave the apartment unless u wanna die and lose everything..

CW, from what was relayed by Rockstar, the stimulus will be delivered to all gamers who played online (edited for correction) in October only.
Uhm, no they wont ONLY compensate players that have bought the game in October, thats stupid.That would leave out ALL the people that actually pre- ordered the game,in September.

Rockstar has verified on their site: “You must play or have played Grand Theft Auto Online at any time during the month of October 2013 in order to qualify for the GTA$500,000 deposit in your in-game bank account.”
In my opinion gta5 is a great “game” for 60 bones. Rockstar set out to create a fun open world enviroment. and they will accomplish this.
Seriously this isnt the best game really its far from it id really love to see the glitches fixed online is bad … plus the best GTA game hands down goes to GTA San Andreas.

Monster of a game will be loved for years, and the last great game on this generation of consoles…..a love letter from rockstar! Rs table tennis, gta 4, red dead and l.a noire pretty much the most enjoyable before trevor came and stomped all over my life a true legend
