Washington D.C., Oct. 13, 2010: Republicans 200 strong anti-government marchers including among them former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Mike Lee, removed the barriers and entered the WWII veterans memorial. Senator Cruz was angry at the step taken by the federal government to stop the veterans of WWII from entering the premises. He said that as it is a peoples’ trust why is the government erecting barricades to this national monument. He appeared visibly frustrated and angry at this step taken by the government. But the crowning moment of the whole march on White House, as CNN puts it, was the speech by Larry Klayman, a prominent member of a conservative political advocacy group, the Freedom Watch. He in his speech went so far as to brand President Obama a Muslim, and urged the crowd of marchers to initiate not only a non-violent movement against him, but also implored those in the power corridors to impeach him.
