Police and doctors confirm that a cafe north of Baghdad was the latest target of a car bomb that killed 11 people and wounded 22 others. Monday’s bomb is just the latest attack in a series that targeted cafes in the war-torn country this year.
The cafe was located south of Baquba in the Iraqi town of Buhruz.
Both Baquba and Buhruz have seen violence erupt before. A wave of bombings killing over 43 people occurred back in November in Baghdad, Abu Ghraib, Mosul, and Buhruz. Around the same time, three other men were also found shot in the head and chest in Baquba.
