A powerful winter storm turns deadly as it wrecks snowy havoc in Pennsylvania, and is believed to be a factor in a massive 50 car pile-up on the westbound side of the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Morgantown.
The entire area around Philadelphia is under a warning from the National Weather Service, and forecasts call for the winter storm to deliver several inches of the white stuff before the system moves out of the area.
At least one death is being reported due to the storm, and highway crews have been mobilized to treat the dangerous roads. This story is still unfolding.
