Jesus Huerta demonstrators took to the streets recently to show support for the deceased young man. Six people have been arrested at the third march in support of the Durham teen, Jesus Huerta, who died while in police custody. Officials state that the 17-year-old shot himself while handcuffed in the back of a patrol car. There have been vigils with loved ones and supporters in recent days, which have drawn out violent confrontations with the local police. Patrol cars have been spray painted and windows smashed at a police substation. So far no-one has been injured in the clashes. Most of the arrests are for the unauthorized entry of city parking facilities.
