Roy Garber, the much loved star of A&E’s reality show Shipping Wars is dead. The reality show star was rushed to a Texas hospital by his girlfriend after he experienced severe chest pains leading to a heart attack. Shortly after arriving to the hospital, Garber died. He was just 49-years-old. Sources close to the family states the patriarch had previous issues with his heart.

Garber just finishing wrapping up the final episode for season five last week. A representative for A&E has confirmed the death, releasing a statement of condolences for Garber’s family. “He will be missed,” the network states.

Shipping Wars debuted in 2012 and has consistently maintained a steady viewership of three million. Garber owned Arbie’s Team Transport and ran the business with his son, Travis. Our condolences are extended to Garber’s family.
