Obamacare Kills Jobs

The Obamacare law on health continues to capture the interest of millions of Americans.  According to the nonpartisan groups and Congressional Budget Office, Obama’s healthcare law will devastate the U.S. economy severely by killing full time jobs.  Nonpartisan groups believe that Obamacare kills jobs and will diminish more than 2.3 million of these opportunities.  Congressional analysts said yesterday that millions of Americans will work fewer hours or fully quit their jobs because of President’s Obamacare law.  The changes in workforce will result in fewer people on the job.

By 2021, more than two million jobs will be eliminated as a result of Obama’s healthcare law.  To take the benefit of Obamacare law, millions of Americans will have to work less or quit their jobs to keep their income low.  This will kill jobs in the long run.  The federal healthcare coverage plan is only for people with lower income and those with higher wages will not be qualified for the federal assistance on Medicare or Medicaid.  Furthermore, the working class of America will not be depending on their employers’ health insurance coverage.

According to Congressional Budget Office, more than 800,000 jobs will be killed by 2021.  Republic Representative of Minnesota, John Kline said, Obamacare law will damage the economy by killing jobs.  According to Republicans, the overhauls of Obama’s plans are a complete failure, as the President is trying to transform the entire U.S. health care system.  The Obamacare will harm the working class of America critically by killing millions of jobs.

According to the reports from the White House on Tuesday, the healthcare law does not kill jobs on its own;, instead, it is individuals who will either voluntarily quit or reduce their working hours to become eligible.  It will be entirely up to the American people to decide for themselves what they will do. It is not up to their employers to let them go.  John Boehner, the House Speaker, said that the Obamacare law is severely affecting the middle class, who are getting “squeezed” in this system.  Meanwhile, the White House further reports that the Republicans are getting “offensive” and are drawing out attack lines, which they will use in the midterm elections in November against the Democrats.  Apparently, the Democrats advocate for President Obama’s healthcare law, saying that it empowers Americans by giving individual autonomy to decide whether they wish for early retirement and staying at home where they can spend more time with their families.

The White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, said that it is an assumption that Obamacare law kills jobs. People are working less or quitting their jobs. It is not accurate, as the law does not lead to employers cutting back their businesses, or reducing work hours and killing these placements.  The CBO report confirms that the budget deficit was $1 trillion in a recession; Obama became president during that time.  The economic recovery is steady; the budget deficit is reduced and is currently $514 billion.  Furthermore, with more people retiring and fewer people in the workforce it can only lead to a reduced amount of tax revenues in the future, which can amplify the budget deficit.  The Obamacare law gives people the right to make decisions regarding their lives and preferences.  It empowers families with lower income; they can work and spend more, which is something that will benefit the economy it the end.

I guess I’m just too stupid to understand all this. Here’s my understanding of the CBO report. The 2.3 million jobs are not really jobs, they are “job hours”. Meaning that people will work less hours because Obamacare will cost less than their present healthcare.
Let me understand this. Say I’m paying $100 a month for healthcare and I make $10 per hour. If the ACA gave me coverage at no cost, I’d gain $100 a month in income. So, I’d agree to work 10 hours less a month and still break even. Yeah, right. In reality, I’m still going to work my normal hours and have $100 more a month to spend. Only a politician could believe that people would be willing to work less and earn less if they could work the same hours and earn more.

Obamacare is just a catapult to Single Payer HR676 and its doing its job. All the industrialized nations have it already. Like Winston Churchill said; “America always does the right thing, after they’ve tried everything else.
