Old Dominion Student Dead after AttackA student of Old Dominion University, Paul Johnson, was left dead after an attack last night in Norfolk, Va. early Sunday morning. Norfolk Police are searching for two suspects, David William Grimm Jr., 21, and Christopher Chase Johnson, 20, in connection to the assault.

The assault took place some around 1 a.m. at 4814 Hampton Blvd. Norfolk Police responded to reports of an assault in progress near a 7-Eleven. Medics arrived on the scene and took Johnson to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead later that day.

Norfolk Police have already secured warrants for Grimm Jr. for second degree murder, and Johnson for misdemeanor assault. The ODU Police Department has asked for anyone who can provide information or who may have been near businesses in the area around the hour of the incident to call Old Dominion University Police at 757-683-4000.
