McAllen, Texas, was the somewhat unlikely place where Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reunited and spent several hours of quality time together on Friday and Saturday. Are they back together? That remains to be seen, but they are definitely acting as if they’re a couple again.
Selena Gomez, 21, was in McAllen, Texas, to give a concert on Saturday night at the nearby city of Hidalgo at the State Farm Arena. Justin Bieber was there, apparently, so that the two of them could spend a bit of time together.
The pair had a very public breakup and it seemed even a week ago that they never would get back together again. Reportedly, Justin has cheated on Selena with several women, including Miley Cyrus, Katherine Gazda, Chantel Jeffries, Barbara Palvin, as well as hookers and strippers.
But they have, apparently, reconciled their differences and have put the past — including Justin’s romantic indiscretions — into the past. They are even working on a new single together.
What did Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez do together in McAllen, Texas?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent much of Friday together in McAllen. They were seen at Don Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant at McColl Road having breakfast. They ate huevos rancheros and chilaquiles, and a bit later in the day they were seen at Perfumeria de la Versailles on South Main Street.
Around 7:00 p.m. on Friday night, after getting together again at a Starbuck’s and had some coffee, the pop stars spent a couple of hours together at the Action Dance Studio, according to TMZ and others.
There, with the door guarded by security, and dance mats leaned against the windows so that no one could look inside, Selena and Justin worked with a choreographer on their dance moves and seemed, according to the Yair Cruz, owner of the studio, to be really into each other.
Cruz told them they didn’t have to pay for the time they’d spent using his studio, saying that it was “an honor,” to him that they had decided to practice “at my dance studio.”
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent Saturday afternoon together playing laser tag at Xtreme Lazer Tag in McAllen. They had rented out the laser tag arena, which used to be a chewing gum factory, with the exception of a party that was already being held inside. An employee reportedly saw them kissing in the shadows of the laser tag course.
The cost to play laser tag at Xtreme Lazer Tag is, ordinarily, $9.00 per hour. The laser tag operator didn’t name a price, but let Selena and Justin Bieber pay whatever they decided to pay. They put $649.50 on Bieber’s credit card for the cost of the one and a half hours they spent there with their entourage of eight other people.
Justin won the game, reportedly, and he also bought Xtreme Lazer Tag’s entire stock of sour Patch Kids candy.
The performance by Selena Gomez at the Borderfest event was the first one she’s given since she checked into a rehab facility in January for a brief stint.
Are Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez back together? Or was the time they spent together at McAllen, Texas, mainly “business,” during which they indulged in a little bit of fun?
Many people applauded Selena Gomez’s decision to move on from her past relationship with Justin Bieber, and to get on living her own life, away from him. Whether Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together or not, the publicity certainly does not seem to be hurting the careers of either one of them. If Justin Bieber can re-establish a stable relationship with Selena Gomez, it will perhaps be the best news about him that has been in the media since the beginning of 2014.
