It is official! The long-awaited and anticipated Microsoft Office for iPad is coming out today. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella unveiled Office for iPad, a version of its bread-and-butter word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, for use with Apple’s tablet during his first press conference since taking office earlier this year.
The app will be available at no cost in Apple’s App Store today. Users will be able to read and present content that way, but for creating and editing content, an Office 365 subscription will be needed.
