Aldon Smith was arrested Sunday afternoon at LAX. Eyewitnesses reports say that Smith was at Gate Six of Terminal One when airport security approached him. He was led away from the gate, and according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, was going to be transported for booking. The spokesman did not mention Smith’s identity, but eyewitness accounts confirm it was him. He maintained his innocence as he was led away, and witnesses say that he was not out of control, but simply agitated.
