Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was assaulted today when a woman threw a shoe at her while speaking at a conference at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Clinton was not injured, yet she took the incident in stride.
The woman was quickly apprehended by Casino security and is being held for questioning.
Clinton was a guest speaker at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries speaking on the importance of recycling goods for the environment. Clinton was quick to make light of the situation making reference to the shoe throwing incident of former President Bush while visiting Bagdad in 2008.
No names have been released, however she will be questioned by secret service before any charges are considered.
